Your company applies for the grant; we deliver the project

The call requires the project to be delivered by an external technology provider with a proven track record, and consultancy and engineering must account for at least 20% of the eligible budget. That is our role: defining the project, delivering it and documenting it in the technical report. Your company submits the application, and we support you at every step of the process.

What we do as your technology provider

Four services that fit the SPRI pathway

Phase 1 of the pathway

AI and data assessment and strategy

Digital and data maturity assessment, identification of use cases with measurable returns, and an adoption roadmap aligned with your business objectives.

Implementation phase

AI solution implementation

Automation of administrative and document processes, internal AI assistants, exploitation of production data and integration with your existing systems. Off-the-shelf or bespoke solutions, always new to your company: the call does not fund products already in a provider's catalogue.

Skills and leadership

Training for teams and management

Practical training in responsible AI use, adoption criteria and genuine autonomy, so the knowledge stays within the company once the project ends.

Call documentation

Support with the application and final settlement

We prepare with you the technical and financial proposal submitted with the application, the budget breakdown by eligible cost categories and, at project close, the final technical report that certifies the work to SPRI.

How we work

From assessment to final report, in four steps

  1. 1

    Free initial meeting

A meeting with your team to understand your starting point: data, processes and where AI delivers real returns in your plant or service.

  2. 2

    Project and budget

We define the use case, scope, timeline and deliverables, and draft the technical and financial proposal in the format the call requires. If the project exceeds €15,000, we guide you in gathering the three quotes required.

  3. 3

    Your company submits the application

With the documentation ready, the application is filed through SPRI's online portal. Grants are awarded on a first come, first served basis: the sooner you apply, the better your chances.

  4. 4

    Delivery and final report

We deliver the project within a maximum of 12 months and produce the final technical report detailing tasks, time allocations and evidence of every piece of work carried out.

What costs are covered

  • External consultancy and engineering: at least 20% of the eligible budget

  • Hardware investments linked to the project
  • Cloud services and licences (SaaS)

Funding is allocated on a first come, first served basis

The call is open from 24 March to 2 November 2026 — or until the funds run out. If you have an AI project in mind, the best time to talk about it is now.
